In collaboration with the University of Michigan Press, the Center for Advanced Study “RomanIslam – Center for Comparative Empire and Transcultural Studies" seeks to discuss the book "Between Sahara and Sea. Africa in the Roman Empire" (The University of Michigan Press: Ann Arbour 2023) on an international platform and with the integration of several international scholars currently active in the field. The roundtable discussion will be held online via zoom, on January 30, 2024, 4–6 pm (Central European time!). Comments and remarks will be provided by:
